Welcome to Malden Manor Primary School

Welcome to Malden Manor, where our aim is to provide an educational experience of the highest quality for all the children in our care. By creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment, we seek to capture pupils’ interest, extend their knowledge and raise their aspirations. Our teaching and learning is designed to bring learning to life, both in the classroom and through a variety of inspiring experiences in the wider community. In line with our objective of being the best we can be, we encourage children to take an active role in their education, developing the skills they need for independent learning. Parental involvement is vital for children to achieve their best so it is encouraged at every stage of learning.

Malden Manor is a vibrant and welcoming community in which we strive for the highest standards of attainment – whether academic, artistic or sporting. We find and nurture hidden talents, celebrating the strengths of every child.

Our expectations in terms of both learning and behaviour are high and the children respond with delightful enthusiasm, politeness and consideration for others. Our broad curriculum and rich programme of extra-curricular activities – including the popular breakfast and after-school clubs – provide a well-rounded education, supported by excellent pastoral care. Together with my team of dedicated staff and governors, I invite you to visit the school to see for yourself the fantastic opportunities it offers your child.

School Meals

PS Catering   logo

We have had the privilege of providing the school meals for your children at Malden Manor Primary School since September 2021.

We provide a 4 option menu which the pupils will be able to choose from daily without preordering. This allows pupils to have maximum choice and ensure they have access to nutritious, tasty, locally sourced food that will give them the energy to keep them going throughout the school day. We also provide tasters twice a week so they can try different foods and maybe find new flavours they love!

Details on theme days, special days and competitions are sent termly so you have plenty of time to ensure your children benefit from these.

All pupils from Reception to Year 6 are able to have free hot lunches. If you are in receipt of certain benefits then please still apply for what is known as Free School Meals as this provides additional funding to the school and means you will be able to access free holiday club via FUEL. For further details please click here.

Great food is what we are all about but if we can help the environment whilst doing this it’s a win win!

We make sure that we use products when they are in season so that your children’s meals are made
from only the freshest ingredients. This not only helps to support local famers but also helps to reduce our carbon footprint.

We only purchase the most sustainable products and all our waste is recycled including our cooking oil which is converted in to biofuel which the lorries use to deliver our produce.

We work with the school to help your children follow the growing cycle in the school garden through to serving the food on the plate.

We also listen to the school food council. Using their feedback about the menus to tailor them to suit your children’s needs and tastes which in turn help reduce food waste.

Best Wishes
